Hedging & Topiary

Get your hedges looking sharper than ever.

1. Initial Consultation

The hedging process begins with a thorough consultation between our clients and team members. During this stage, expectations are clearly established, and the specific objectives of the hedging work are defined, whether they involve height reduction, a hard cutback, or a light trim.
1.

2. Execution of Work

We prioritise the faces of the hedges, ensuring they are trimmed first. Following this, the tops of the hedges are addressed, with all clippings meticulously removed to achieve a clean and polished appearance.
2.

3. Quality Check

Upon completion of the initial trimming, we conduct a detailed inspection by ruffling the hedge to identify any missed areas.
3.

4. Secondary Adjustment

A second trim is performed to ensure the hedge maintains a crisp and clean appearance from top to bottom.
4.

5. Clean Up and Finishing Touches

Finally, we collect and remove all clippings and debris from the site, leaving the property in pristine condition and ensuring the area looks its absolute best.

Lawn Care

Have the best lawn in your neighbourhood.

1. Property Assessment

We begin with a thorough walk-through of the property to identify any potential obstacles, such as toys or other objects on the lawn, ensuring a smooth and efficient mowing process.
1.

2. Edge Trimming

The edges are trimmed first to establish a clear, crisp border around your lawn, enhancing the overall appearance and definition. We then use a leaf blower to remove clippings, preparing the lawn for the next stage.
2.

3. Mowing

The mowing is carried out with a double cut technique to achieve a high-quality, even finish across the lawn.
3.

4. Final Clean Up

After mowing, a final blow is performed to clear any remaining grass clippings from driveways, paths, and landscaped areas, ensuring the entire property looks immaculate.
4.

5. Specialty Services

We then address any additional specialty services in your package, such as weed control, fertilising, or soil health treatments, to maintain and enhance the overall health and appearance of your lawn.

FAQ

How often should I have my lawn mowed?
Our packages include fortnightly mowing during the growing season and monthly mowing during the dormant season. The longest time between cuts that we offer is six weeks during the dormant season.
What is included in my lawn care service?
Our packages vary significantly depending on what you value the most when it comes to your lawn. We specialise in fertilisation, weed control, pest and disease management, soil health and complete renovations. Please visit our 'Packages' here for detailed information on what each service package includes.
Do I need to be home for my lawn to be mowed?
Your presence is not required while we mow, as long as we have access to your property. We send clients a reminder prior to their scheduled service and notify them once the mowing is complete.
Do you offer one-time mowing services?
Our focus is on long-term lawn health and improvement. Our service packages are designed to enhance the quality of your lawn through carefully timed fertilisation and weed control. However, if you require a one-time service for a special event or occasion, please contact us to discuss how we can assist you.
Can you mow when the grass is wet?
While it is possible to mow wet grass, it is not ideal, as it can compromise the quality of the work and potentially damage our equipment. We prefer to wait for the grass to dry in order to deliver optimal results.
What if it rains on my scheduled mowing day?
In the event of rain, we will continue working as long as conditions allow. If the weather compromises the quality of our service, you will be notified about the delayed service, and we will reschedule at the earliest possible time once the weather improves.
Do you offer additional services beyond mowing?
While our focus is largely high quality lawn care and specialist hedging, we also offer garden clean ups to help you get on top of your outdoor projects.
What type of equipment do you use?
We use commercial-grade, well-maintained equipment to ensure top-quality results. Wherever possible, we use battery-powered equipment to reduce our environmental footprint, although some tasks may require petrol-powered tools for greater efficiency and precision.
Do I need to prepare anything before your service?
We kindly request that you clear any toys, tools, debris, and pet waste from the lawn before our arrival. Additionally, please ensure we have full access to your property so we can perform the service efficiently.
